" I have a passion for beads, the pastime passion turned into a business after my cousin Kathy taught me how to bead a few years ago. I took many more classes and I was hooked…

I am drawn to stones that evoke sea, sky and sand. I turn to nature for inspiration. We travel the world and I find myself rambling through markets throughout the world choosing beads. I always share with my customers the origins of their piece.

My creations are sold at galleries and shows. I accept special orders, weddings and repurpose vintage pieces. I have created treasures for family members from just one of Grandma’s necklaces.

I have purchased beads at a shop where Janis Joplin and Cher shopped. I chose pearls in Tahiti. I have also sought out beads in Italy, Croatia, Guatemala, Mexico, Portugal, Belgium, Morocco, Turkey, France, Costa Rica, Alaska and New York City and many other cities in the United States. I support local bead shops as well.
I am married to my soul mate. I have one child, a daughter who is one of the most beautiful creatures on this earth both inside and out. My husband has three children. Kristin, husband Paul and daughter Taylor, Mark, married is a gentle and a kind man, and Sandi is a sweet woman with husband Mike and precious son Gunnar.

My career is a lifetime in the dental profession as a hygienist and educator. I hold a B.S. from Marquette University and a Master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin Stout.
I hold a white belt in the NIA dance technique, practice yoga, an avid bicycle rider, scuba dive and enjoy the benefits of essential oils.
